Virus Heat is a nasty false anti-spyware giving giving you false result. You will get many popups telling you that you are at infected or at risk. It’s nag. Plus, Internet Explorer has it’s home page changed to go to Virus Heat homepage.
What is Smitfraud-c?
Smitfraud-c what the culprit for this big annoyance. Smitfraud-c also add other fake malware.
Removing Virus Heat and Smitfraud-c
The solution that work for many was using AVG free(anti-virus) for removing Smitfraud-c and using PC Tools Spyware Doctor for removing Virus Heat. Spyware Doctor is not free but it’s the best at removing spyware and worth the price to save you some headaches now or later.
